I work with individuals, groups, and couples, providing space for creative change in whatever way this unfolds. Relating is at the heart of this process, which is always a new and co-created experience between therapist and client(s). I have a practice at Number 42 in London Bridge. I also work online, and in nature—either over the phone, or by meeting in person to walk or run together.

I work alongside my clients, and together we gain a greater understanding of who they are, how they form relationships, and how their experiences, outlook, and expectations are affecting their present situation. This is made possible by providing a confidential space, free from judgmental bias, and embodied by curiosity, empathy, challenge, and insight.

The therapeutic relationship is where new life can emerge—it’s where transformation can take place. It’s a more-than-the-sum-of-its-parts experience—resonant like a choir singing in harmony.

As the relationship forms in the sessions, a nuanced flow of communication unfolds. It is with this shared language that deeper exploration begins. In this sometimes playful context, images, metaphors, and dreams start to emerge from the unconscious. With these, we can understand how you have managed your life up to this point—and rewrite the scripts, where needed, in the present and going forward.

I studied at City Lit and the Institute of Group Analysis, where I achieved diplomas in Person-Centred Counselling and Group Analytic Psychotherapy, respectively. I am an accredited member of the BACP and have been a practising therapist for ten years.

I SPELL M, A, CHILD… N

Men’s Group – Wednesdays

@ Number 42, London Bridge
12:15 – 1:45 pm

Thinking about suicide, anger, trauma, violent/absent/enmeshing parents, addiction, sexuality, relationships, parenting, and masculine identities.
Nurturing the inner boy and allowing his emotions and imaginary world to surface.

The Lonely Children GROUP

Mixed Group (men, women, trans, and non-binary) – Thursdays

@ Number 42, London Bridge
7:00 – 8:30 am

A diverse group for adults whose childhoods created a situation where they had to cut off from what was around them.
Exploring themes such as violence, sexual/emotional abuse, abandonment, addiction, bereavement, trauma, sexuality, gender identity, dissociation, and rage.

Why Groups?
Groups can help people who struggle with belonging in relationships. They provide a rich resource for revealing, understanding, and processing lesser-known parts of ourselves. Group members benefit from the giving and receiving of different outlooks on life and the sharing of problems.

They offer a space in which to experiment with different ways of relating. Groups create situations close to everyday life—this can feel more anxiety-provoking, but the learning is often more directly translatable to daily experience. Some people begin therapy in a group; others use it to round off individual therapy.

Groups can enhance your ability to manage group dynamics in work, family, and social life.

Couples Work
Couples therapy can bring the root causes of your issues to the surface, where they can be held and worked through creatively. An impartial presence can help identify where things are going wrong and clear the way forward—together or apart.

To begin, I ask all parties to write to me explaining what is happening in the relationship from their perspective (clearly indicating what can and cannot be shared). With this background in mind, we can then arrange an initial session.

I charge £120 for individual and couples sessions, and £50 for group sessions. I offer some slots at a reduced rate. I suggest we begin with an initial session, where I can learn a bit about your history and what has brought you here. Based on this session, we can both decide whether working together would be beneficial.

During the assessment, we can also consider whether joining a group, beginning individual or couples therapy, walking or running in nature—or a combination of these—would work best for you.
